This implies that when providers use EBP in treatments and care, patient satisfaction improves. Healthcare costs in the United States are high, and multiple readmissions and medical errors exacerbate the problem, limiting healthcare access and putting a strain on healthcare resources (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2018).

Evidence-based practice allows healthcare providers to be empowered and experience greater job satisfaction. As a result, it can be said that it helps the healthcare system achieve the Quadruple Aim. Because it is based on scientific research studies, EBP is an essential problem-solving approach in clinical settings. EBP has a quadruple impact because it improves population health by providing accurate and evidence-based care to patients and reduces healthcare costs by eliminating errors and harm. Healthcare collaboration and shared decision-making improved the work lives of healthcare providers while also improving patient experience and outcomes.
